Founder and Creative Director of Squatter Factory: producing, writing and directing several short films.
Founder and Head of Program for the international screenplay writing festival PLOT, screenwriter’s summer camp Drama.pt, and a Portuguese screenplay writing competition called Guioes.
He did a cinematography course at London Film Academy.
He has a PhD in Media Arts and MA in Screenwriting.
He is now an assistant professor at Universidade de Beira Interior and Universidade Lusofona de Humanidades e Tecnologias in Lisbon.

JACEK Flig – Jury Member

Film Critique, Cinematographer and Film Historian.
Coauthor of 4 volumes „Film History”,
Author of numerous texts about contemporary cinematography.
He has a PhD in Media Arts at Jagiellonian University Krakow.
A post-degree Cinematographer specialization at AMA Film Academy in Krakow.

JOSE Biscaya – Jury Member

He is an artist and experimental filmmaker.
He graduated at the Sandberg Institute, Fine Arts Department (MA).
Currently working as the A/V and 3D Specialist and Technical Advisor at Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten.
He also works at LIMA Amsterdam (media art platform for distribution and conservation of media art) as the Technical Specialist.

Joao MB Costa – Jury Member

DOP, a freelance cameraman, videographer, photographer and lecturer at the film department of SAE Institute Amsterdam.
He have worked for companies as diverse as Netflix, Paradiso Amsterdam, Volkshotel, Guess Jeans, Heineken, L’Oreal and Google among many others…

Director of Asian, Los Angeles Cinematography Awards & Children Cinema Awards in Amsterdam.
He studied Mass Communications and Motion Picture Production Program in Manila, Philippines.
A graduate of the Film studies at SAE Institute in Amsterdam.
He has an honours degree in Digital Filmmaking at Middlesex University in London.
