Best Film of the Month

TITLE: The Last Chord (Poland)

DIRECTOR: Franciszek Siwko

PRODUCER: Franciszek Siwko

DOP: Oskar Kozlowski

About the Film:

“The last Chord” is a family story about dreams and unhealthy parenthood. Tomas (20), is an outstanding piano musician, who lives in the shadow of his mother, an unfulfilled pianist of classical music. She, wants her sacrifices to bear fruit.
Watching her son, who like her, has exceptional talent and musical hearing, becomes perfect candidate to continue her abandoned career.

Director Biography – Franciszek Siwko:

I am a 17 year high school student from Warsaw. I have been in love with cinema all my life and this year I was able to create my first film – “The Last Chord”. I wrote the script with my colleague from school and personally directed the project. Being without any film studies or experience on the set, I took on this challenge. While learning “The Last Chord,” I learned a lot and I’m currently working on a feature film.

The Best Film of the Month has the Official Selection to Golden Eagles AWARDS and guaranteed screening in the cinema. The rest films for the live screening jury will select from all Winners during a year. We will present the full list of selected films until the Notification Date.
