WINNERS - December 2021

6th Edition of the European Cinematography AWARDS

Best Film of the Month

TITLE: Mosaic (France)

DIRECTOR: Victor Boccard

PRODUCER: Louis Jousselme

About the Film:

Presenting his new works at a vernissage, a young sculptor is warmly welcomed by the critics who reward him for his work and his talent. But frustrated by the pain of a recent romantic separation and haunted by his memories, he struggles to remain lucid and enjoy his success. Continuing the mirage of his ex-partner Hélène, he will be projected into the unfolding of their story and the memories they shared together. A success that will have cost him dearly. Lifting the veil on the true nature of his success, and the sacrifices he had to make, this journey will reveal what continues to haunt him today.

Director Biography:

Victor Boccard is a young director based in Paris. After graduating from high school, he decided to follow a double curriculum, both directing at the “Ecole Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisuelle” and acting at the “Cours Florent” school. Two diplomas that permit him to start as an art director in advertising.

In 2019, he signs a first short self-produced, called “I am my ambition”, shot in 16mm and selected in the Nikon Film festival as 34 from 3000 others projects.

To facilitate the self-production of his films, he sets up his own production company, ATTA FILMS.
He directs his second short film, “His mind was sane but his soul was mad”, in 35mm, with the famous french actor Didier Flamand.

In 2021, he meets the young producer Louis Jousselme and works with MOSAIC Pictures Production on the short film “Mosaïque” with the actor Lucas Bravo (Emily in Paris – netflix) and Leslie Medina.
The same year, he continues his projects in advertising and directs a video for the luxury company Christian Louboutin shoes.
