About the Film:
A poor housemaid, lives with her abusive unemployed husband. Swamped in poverty and domestic violence, She decides to break free from her sad reality and buys herself a nice present. When her husband notices the present, a series of events will unfold.
Director Biography:
Yazid Eldaly is an Egyptian Filmmaker who studied Engineering, and earned a degree in Music Theory and Composition from the Royal Schools of Music. He was a Music composer for prominent media ADs, shorts and documentaries as well as an Executive Producer for several media projects. To follow his passion for film and storytelling, Yazid studied writing and directing and attended writing workshops with the famous Egyptian writer Ahmed Mourad. In 2021, he made his directorial debut Short film Hookah.
