Two gay men set out on a train journey after losing a common friend to a homophobic attack when life slowly catches up with them.

Director Biography:

Born and raised in Switzerland, director Sven Schnyder is a storyteller with a knack for memorable characters, witty dialogues and clever world-building. He strives to combine quirky Swiss peculiarities with a comprehensive understanding of thrilling storytelling. Having written a feature film under the guidance of Emmy winner Heiner Gatzemeier (2009, ‘Die Wölfe’), Schnyder’s work ranges from short films to web series to scripts for national television. Together with producer/cinematographer Sebastian Klinger and co-writer Tobias Imbach he created the ‘Heimat’ trilogy, a loosely connected series of award-winning short films depicting the idea of home in Switzerland. While contentually and stylistically independent from one another, they all share the same foresight for socially relevant themes and emotive narratives – one of Schnyder’s great strengths.
